If you, like us, thought that Strictly Come Dancing would be light on the slip-ups without the ever-outrageous Bruno Tonioli, then you'd be wrong.
Because – for better or worse – head judge Shirley Ballas was on hand to deliver one of the more awkward comments we've heard so far this series in last night's (October 21) show.
After Paralympian Jonnie Peacock and dance partner Oti Mabuse performed their lively quickstep routine for the judges, Shirley heaped Jonnie with some unintentionally punny praise.
"You bring a whole new meaning to putting a spring in your step," Shirley told Jonnie, who was dancing in his blade. "It was light, it was bright..."
Fortunately, Jonnie saw the funny side and interjected: "Excuse the pun."
Which is more than can be said for Shirley, who still didn't really get it.

"I said something wrong again, you know what I mean," she added, and Jonnie quickly replied that he was joking while laughing the moment off.

And just to really stress that Jonnie didn't mind Shirley's slip-up at all, he later replied to a fan on Twitter to say he "loved" the pun.
Pun aside, Shirley had a lot of great things to say about Jonnie and Oti's dance, wrapping up her comments by saying: "I thought you were outstanding today."
And outstanding Jonnie and Oti's quickstep certainly seemed to be, as it drew an impressive 24 out of 30 points from judges Shirley, Darcey and Craig. Good going, guys!
Elsewhere in the Strictly ballroom, Debbie McGee is reigning supreme at the top of the leaderboard, while four couples are tied in last place with 16 points.
