There's an extra special reason to watch Strictly Come Dancing's Movie Week shows this weekend.

Sheridan Smith will be reprising her role as Fanny Brice from her time in the West End production of Funny Girl for the results show.

Accompanying a picture of a glamorous Smith on the official Strictly account was the caption: "For one night only! @Sheridansmith1 joins our #Strictly 'Movie Week' Results Show to perform 'My Man' from Funny Girl."

Smith, who appeared in the role last year, recently announced that she is launching a fully-fledged music career after signing a contract with East West Records and Warner Music.

She shared a first look at the cover of her album, titled Sheridan, earlier this month.

"It has been an ambition since I was a child to record my own album," she explained at the time.
