If you were watching The X Factor last night (September 10), you may have noticed a familiar face among the auditionees.

What to Read Next

The Cutkelvins – made up of siblings Shereen, Jay and Kay Cutkelvin – impressed the judges with their smooth take on Beyoncé and Naughty Boy's 'Runnin''.

However, you've probably seen and heard Shereen before, as she was actually a member of short-lived girl band Neon Jungle.

The band – also comprised of Amira McCarthy, Jessica Plummer and Asami Zdrenka – disbanded back in 2015, though managed to score two Top 10 singles, including a No. 4 with 'Braveheart', a Top 10 album and even a Teen Choice Award.

Well, we guess another shot at fame is warranted, especially with Shereen's stellar voice, and judge Sharon Osbourne noted that she should be more front-and-centre in The Cutkelvins.

"You should be more upfront, and the guys with the harmonies and the rap – they should be behind you," she said, though they managed to bag four yeses to progress to Boot Camp.

Fans were singing Shereen's praises on Twitter, among them former Neon Jungle member Jessica, who wrote: "Yes shezzy #teamcutty."

Last night's episode saw a raft of other impressive auditions, including a certain Harrison Styles (no relation to you-know-who).

The X Factor airs on ITV.
