Amy Willerton may have been buried alive with snakes and scorpions, and had to teach Joey Essex to tell the time, but the model insists The Jump is far more scary and challenging than I'm a Celebrity.
"This is by far the scariest thing I've done," Amy told Digital Spy. "I am an adrenaline junkie - I've skydived, I've bungee jumped and every time I do an adrenaline sport, I want to do it again.
"The Jump has never not become scary. This is scarier because in I'm a Celebrity I knew that ITV could not let me die. I'm not saying Channel 4 will let me die, but the danger in this show is real and always there which makes it such a great show.
"Everything is done to prevent that happening but every time you go on The Jump, it's scary. You know what can go wrong. In I'm a Celebrity I was buried in a trench with thousands of critters, I had snakes on my face and I crawled through tarantulas and this scares me more."
Amy has replaced Vogue Williams after she pulled out due to a knee injury. Co-stars Gareth Thomas and Josie Gibson recently spoke of their shock at Vogue having to the leave the competition, with rugby star Gareth adding that she could have been the first woman to win the Channel 4 show.
Sir Bradley Wiggins also panicked fans after sharing a picture of his foot all bandaged up but Channel 4 have since confirmed to Digital Spy that is was a minor injury and that he will still be competing in tonight's launch.
