Ant & Dec's joke about Stephen Hawking on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here had a mixed response from viewers.
To backtrack, it was prompted by Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt telling the camp about how she'd emailed Hawking to get his opinion on her theories on time travel (really).
The presenters followed up the clip with a live piece of them 'calling' Hawking and asking him what they made of Scarlett's thoughts with an electronic voice pretending to be the scientist responding.
Fans of the show were divided over the skit, with some labelling it "brilliant" and others branding it "not cool".
Well, according to Ant & Dec themselves Hawking was a fan, although he didn't think so highly of Scarlett's time travel musings.
"We got an email from Stephen Hawking after that," Dec revealed.

"He said he enjoyed her thoughts on the pyramids and enjoyed the sketch that we did in the studio. So that was a highlight."
Ant added: "He didn't believe [Scarlett's theory] but he loved it!"

Meanwhile Scarlett has insisted that she's nothing like the show's previous Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison, saying: "Me and Vicky are only similar in that we've got a similar accent."
