Apparently Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host Zoe Ball hasn't been keeping up on her dance practice recently.

It Takes Two brought us the funniest and cringiest TV moment of the week when Zoe was goaded into demonstrating a dance lift with guest choreographer Ian Waite. It. Did. Not. Go. Well.

Zoe gamely gave the flying leap a shot, but almost lost her shirt as Ian accidentally tugged it up above her tummy and then roughly plopped her down on the floor with even less form than Ed Balls' infamous botched lift.

"That was a disaster," Ian snarked as an embarrassed Zoe giggled: "I think I threw my back out. Did anyone see any tummy?

Throwing his hands up in the air, Ian shrugged: "It's such an easy lift too - I don't know how you managed to ruin it."

Obviously Zoe has been spending more time chatting about dancing and less time actually two-stepping or waltzing recently.

The TV presenter does actually have lots of ballroom experience, having placed third back in 2005 on Strictly when she was partnered with - wait for it - Ian Waite. TSK TSK you two!

Let's pray that this year's Strictly contestants will do a bit better on Saturday's live show, when all eyes are on Ed Balls once again as he tackles 'Gangnam Style'.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday on BBC One.
