It's been a tense week in the Celebrity Big Brother house, so you would forgive some housemates for wanting a bit of space.

Unfortunately that wasn't quite what Big Brother had in mind. Instead, the latest task saw the remaining seven contestants chained together. To win their freedom, the housemates had to correctly guess how they were perceived on the outside.

If the group could correctly guess who received the most and least votes in a series of public polls of more than 39,000 people, a key would be released. The more correct answers, the more housemates would be let off the leash.

Housemates first of all had to guess who is seen as "the biggest follower". The group said Darren Day received the most votes and Gemma the least - but were told that Danniella Westbrook got the most and Tiffany Pollard got the least votes. Not a great start then.

Next up, housemates had to choose who was voted the worst team player. They correctly guessed that "grounded" Gemma Collins got the most votes, while Scotty T got the least, freeing John Partridge from the chain.

When it came to "most irritating" housemate, the group chose eviction survivor Stephanie Davis as ranking top of the poll and Scotty T at the bottom. While it might have stung for Stephanie to find out they were right, she was at least let loose thanks to the correct answer.

Scotty T was next to be freed, as the group named Tiffany most entertaining housemate and Darren the least. With Tiffany, Danniella, Gemma and Darren still locked together, Darren quipped: "I haven't been chained to three girls for years." 

He wasn't chained to the girls for much longer, as the group correctly guessed John was deemed the most intelligent housemate and Stephanie the least. The actress joked that she was going to "go to night school" when the series ends.

On their last attempt to free themselves, the housemates guessed that the public think Gemma is the biggest game player in the house and Darren the least. With Gemma let out of her chains, Tiffany and Danniella remain locked together "until further notice".
