Jeremy McConnell has become the sixth person to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Jeremy ended up going head-to-head with his in-house squeeze Stephanie in the public vote, after US reality star Tiffany Pollard was declared safe earlier in the evening.
In keeping with this week's shopping task, in which the housemates have answered phone calls from loved ones, Big Brother told Stephanie and Jeremy to choose from two red phone boxes in the garden and wait to hear their fate.
As the housemates looked on from the kitchen, Jeremy's phone rang, with host Emma Willis telling him he had received the fewest votes.
An emotional Stephanie began shouting "no, no, no!" as she grabbed Jeremy around the neck. The pair hugged in the garden until the time came for him to leave.
The result came as a bit of a surprise to housemates - Stephanie was sure she would go, and Tiffany and Scotty T predicted the former Hollyoaks star would be the one to walk out of the house.
