Lauren Murray missed her scheduled appearance on The Xtra Factor after she failed to secure a place in The X Factor's grand final.
The 25-year-old left the competition after finding herself in the bottom two with Che Chesterman. After Simon Cowell sent the decision to deadlock, Lauren missed out on a place at Wembley after receiving fewer public votes than Che.
A clearly emotional Lauren briefly thanked her fans following the result but did not appear on the ITV2 sister show.
Rita Ora said the Londoner was "so upset" following her exit, but stressed that Lauren would be okay.
"She's so upset. But sometimes it can get to you. Sometimes I get panicky from coming off stage, wondering if that was okay. Nothing anyone says to you will change your mind," Rita said.
Rita added that Lauren had a difficult week, struggling with a sore throat and changing her song choice last minute.

But she added: "People love Lauren, they love her, they connect with her. She will be fine."
Rita - whose final act Louisa Johnson has reached the final alongside Che and Reggie N Bollie - said she wasn't annoyed with the public's decision, but added that all four contestants deserved to go through to the final.
The judge also confirmed she will perform a duet with Louisa at next week's final.
The X Factor 2015 final takes place at Wembley Stadium on December 12 and 13.
