Lauren Murray has left The X Factor 2015 at the end of this week's semi-finals.
The judges went to deadlock after the public vote put Lauren and Che Chesterman in the bottom two.
An emotional Lauren put in a passionate performance of Rachel Platten's 'Fight Song' as she bid to stay in the competition, while Che delivered a rousing rendition of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' by Simon and Garfunkel.
All four judges said they were reluctant to send either act home and praised their vocals throughout the competition.
Nick Grimshaw, who backed his final act Che, told Lauren: "I never wanted to send you home, you know I'm a massive fan. When you make a record, I'd love to have you on my show."
Lauren's mentor Rita Ora said to Che: "You've done so well up to this point, you've got one of the best voices in the competition. This is really hard, I don't want to send anyone home."

Cheryl, whose act Reggie N Bollie were the first to confirm their place at Wembley, opted to send Lauren home. She said: "There really isn't a valid reason why because for me, both of these artists are amazing singers. Lauren, it's heartbreaking to see you this upset at this stage and it's only going to get harder from here."
After struggling to make a decision, Simon Cowell said: "I like both of you, I want you both in the final. Che you're a great singer, Lauren you're also a great singer."
Cowell decided to put the decision in the hands of the public, which saw Lauren exit the show.
After the result was announced, Lauren said: "Thanks to everyone that voted for me, that believed in me all the way through the competition."
Che now joins Louisa Johnson and Reggie N Bollie in the final, which will take place at Wembley on December 12 and 13.
