Vogue Williams has wasted no time bonding with her I'm A Celeb campmates over Botox, of all things.

In tonight's show Vogue and Ruby had a heart-to-heart where they revealed how they've achieved their wrinkle-free visages. Viewers have been wondering what is the secret to Ruby's smooth complexion at 72 and she told all to Vogue.

Despite being drop-dead stunning even while makeup free, Vogue told Ruby she was feeling, "So ugly in here, everyone is so good looking, it’s so annoying."

The model and podcaster then told Ruby she’d had permanent liner tattooed on her lips.

Ruby quizzed her: "Have you had anything else done? " to which Vogue admitted: "Loads of Botox." Ruby replied: "Oh really, I’ve got a lot of that too!"

Vogue went on to tell Ruby of her Botox lady in Ireland, who had a two-year waiting list and injected her all over her face: either side of her nose, mouth and beneath her eyes.

Ruby later told the Bush Telegraph: "I’ve had things removed and things lifted, and I said to Jennifer Saunders once, 'Do you know what’s great is that you can’t notice it,' and she said, 'Are you kidding? Of course you can!'"

The revelations may be a surprise to the ladies' fans, but both Vogue and Ruby have dropped hints over the years about many surgical procedures.

Ruby Wax's plastic surgery history

In 2009, when Ruby was 56, she told the Guardian she'd had a "tiny bit" of cosmetic surgery.

She said, "If you had it in Joan Rivers's time, in the stone age, you would've made a big mistake, but it's very sophisticated now […] I've had tiny bits... Whether I'd do a whole facelift, I don't know. In TV, people don't tolerate ageing."

Mum-of-three and Irish influencer and broadcaster Vogue said last year that she had undergone a cosmetic procedure, which prompted an unexpected five-word reaction from her husband Spencer Matthews.

Chatting about their daily lives on their podcast, Spencer and Vogue, she dropped casually into their conversation she had gone for "some neck-skin tightening".

In response, Spencer quipped: "Neck? You're not a f**king iguana. Your neck is fine!"

She also recently revealed she had followed in Katie Price's footsteps by undergoing a lip-flip procedure. A lip flip is a non-surgical treatment that uses Botox injections to relax the muscles in the upper lip.

It causes the lip to flip upward, giving it a fuller and plumper appearance. "I’m allowed to say it now. I got a lip flip," Vogue confessed on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast. "I spoke about it in my book, because I got Botox, so I got a lip flip if anyone has ever heard about it."

The NHS advises that anyone considering cosmetic surgery should always book a consultation with the person who will do the procedure before making their final decision. The clinic must be registered with the Care Quality Commission, and if the procedure is surgical, then the person conducting it must be a qualified, licensed doctor. (You can check on the General Medical Council online register).

They recommend that you ask about the practitioner's qualifications and experience, and whether they're a member of a recognised professional association.

The most important things to discuss are possible complications, aftercare and what to do if something goes wrong. A legitimate practitioner will be happy to discuss all the potential negative aspects of cosmetic procedures.
