It seems Louis Walsh will do anything to go back on The X Factor. Well, kind of.
According to numerous reports on Twitter, Simon Cowell prompted Louis to bid £20,000 to become an X Factor judge at a music industry dinner on Monday night.
But don't fear, this was only for a joke during dress rehearsals. Like Simon would actually put Louis through that for real... right?
Cowell was honoured at the Music Industry Trust Awards in aid of the Nordoff Robbins charity and BRIT Trust at The Grosvenor House Hotel, and Louis was there to support him alongside Olly Murs, Caroline Flack and Ben Haenow.

Even Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was there, which means they must have made up after their little spat on Sunday's Xtra Factor.
