Back in 2013, the star described the BBC show's vocal battle rounds as "pointless", and said the programme had nothing to do with "creativity or growing".
The Voice, it's a TV show and these pointless vocal battles are proof that it's nothing to do with creativity or growing! It's drama!

George tweeted: "The Voice, it's a TV show and these pointless vocal battles are proof that it's nothing to do with creativity or growing! It's drama!"
It's not the first time a celebrity talent show judge has gone back on their opinion though, with Rita Ora previously turning down The X Factor for the "freedom" of The Voice - only to leave the BBC show after one series and join Simon Cowell's ITV programme later that year.
Elton John also said he was "not a fan of talent shows" in 2010, but appeared as a celebrity performer during X Factor 2013's grand final.
