Olly Murs has appeared to drop the biggest hint yet that he will be presenting The X Factor.

The former Xtra Factor host reportedly told fans at a gig in Dublin that they will be seeing him "on the telly" very soon, while he also crossed his arms in an 'X'.

Irish radio stations spin1038 and 98 FM report that Murs made the gesture last night (April 12).

Last week, Murs confirmed that he has spoken with Simon Cowell about the position.

The 'Wrapped Up' singer revealed that Cowell is keen on the idea of reuniting him with former Xtra Factor co-presenter Caroline Flack on the ITV main show.
