Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis has landed a huge new TV job.

The former EastEnders actor has been announced as part of Channel 4's upcoming Paralympics coverage, making her debut as a live presenter.

The star will appear alongside Clare Balding in the Athletes' Village, while Channel 4 has also lined up Sex Education's George Robinson and Doctor Who's Lenny Rush to present from the games in Paris.

Former Paralympians Ellie Simmonds and Ade Adepitan will lead the coverage, and there will also be punditry from Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Dame Sarah Storey, Libby Clegg, Steve Brown, Danny Crates, Louise Hunt and Jayant Mistry.

Channel 4's The Last Leg will also broadcast live from Paris with BSL live signing during the games with Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe once the sporting action for the day wraps up.

This year's Paralympics are set to take place in Paris between August 28 and September 8, with Channel 4 broadcasting with increased accessibility, including subtitles, closed audio description on live peak time sport, as well as BSL live signing on More4's live sport coverage and Channel 4 streaming on weekday afternoons.

Fans will also be able to watch the opening and closing ceremonies with BSL and open descriptive commentary on 4Seven and streaming, while daily highlights will have BSL live signing on 4Seven and streaming as well as live closed audio description on Channel 4.

The 2024 Paralympic Games will broadcast on Channel 4 from August 28 to September 8.
