Married at First Sight Australia star Lucinda Light has responded to rumours that she could be joining the show as an expert in the future.
The reality TV star appeared on the 2024 season of the Australian dating show as a participant, partnered with TV groom Timothy, and proved to be a popular figure with viewers for her advice and life outlook.
Fans have been vocal on social media about wanting Lucinda to join the expert panel on MAFS, with Yahoo Lifestyle recently publishing an unconfirmed report claiming that Lucinda has been offered an expert role on New Zealand's version of Married at First Sight.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy to promote her upcoming UK tour of 'An Evening with Lucinda Light', the MAFS star shared her thoughts on the rumours.

"Look, I just don’t think people would take me seriously giving marital advice," she tells us. "I’m not in a marriage.

"I’m great in interpersonal relationships, I’ve got beautiful friendships and great family relationships, but I haven’t nailed that one yet."
She concludes: "I just don’t think I need to be on a panel of experts dishing out that sort of advice when I haven’t figured out the formula."

Fans saw Lucinda's relationship with Timothy become more of a friendship during the experiment, with Timothy struggling to be intimate and ready for love due to past trauma.
The pair eventually called it quits after Homestays Week with both ending the relationship on good terms.
Whilst Lucinda didn't find long-term love on the show, she's definitely hopeful for the future.

"I’ve been on a deep, I suppose, soul search," she tells Digital Spy. "I’ve had many relationships, it’s definitely been a passion, but right now I’m really casting the net for that person."
Lucinda is travelling to the UK for her one-woman shows this August, sharing her MAFS experience and background as an emotional intelligence expert with audiences across the country.
Asked if she'd consider dating a British man, she replied: "I’m definitely down for that, I’m open. I’m not having much luck with the Aussie guys."
