Strictly Come Dancing's Bobby Brazier has landed his next TV role in new Paramount+ drama Curfew.
The EastEnders actor will join existing cast members Stay Close actor Sarah Parish and Doctor Who's Mandip Gill in the show, which is based on the novel After Dark by Jayne Cowie.
Curfew follows a parallel society where men are ankle-tagged and have to adhere to a daily 7pm-7am curfew as part of 'The Women’s Safety Act'. But when a woman's body is discovered, brutally murdered during curfew hours, police officer Pamela Green concludes that the culprit cannot be male.

Parish plays lead investigator Green, with Brazier portraying schoolboy James, who is vocal in his opposition to the rules and the impact it's having on the local community.
Fellow EastEnders actors Lucy Benjamin, Anita Dobson and Larry Lamb are three new cast members additionally confirmed for the series.
Lucy Benjamin will play DCI Sue Ferguson involved in the murder investigation. Larry Lamb, who also played Mick Shipman in Gavin and Stacey, stars as Rhys Holden, an American man who struggles to adapt to the restrictions imposed in the UK.

Anita Dobson, best known for playing Angie Watts in EastEnders, will have a supporting role as Janet, who runs the Women’s Safety Centre – a refuge for women who don’t want to cohabit with men.
Previously announced Doctor Who star Mandeep Gill plays Sarah, an employee at a local tagging centre at the heart of Green's investigation. Meanwhile, Mitchell Robertson of Mayflies fame portrays rookie cop Eddie.
X Factor winner Alexandra Burke also has a role as schoolteacher Helen, described as an "advocator for the curfew."
Curfew producer Nathalie Peter-Contesse has sold the series as a "provocative and thrilling show that aims to contribute to the important conversation around violence against women."
There is currently no release date for Curfew, but filming on the series started at the beginning of 2024.
Brazier is currently on a break from his role as Freddie Slater in EastEnders, with his character visiting his mum Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth) off-screen.
Curfew will stream on Paramount+.
