Celebrity Big Brother star Marisha Wallace has shared an update on her relationship with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu following their tension within the house.
The two stars were both evicted in the past week, with Ekin-Su's nomination by Marisha provoking anger from the Love Island star in dramatic scenes last week.
Speaking to press about her co-star's reaction (via OK!), Marisha suggested it came about because Ekin-Su felt "betrayed".

"I think Ekin-Su had a trauma response when I called her name because we were playing this game and she was like, ‘Oh, I feel betrayed’," she noted. "You would feel betrayed if you've been betrayed before in your life."
Marisha explained that while it may have been an overreaction, the Big Brother house can be a tense environment.

"We're in a heightened emotional state," she added. "We are away from our support systems, away from our families and then you react a certain way, but then you react that way."

The star said that thankfully "in the next couple of hours, and the next day we made up and it was fine".
"Like we squashed it. We said we're sorry," she shared. "And actually in the moments when we weren't speaking afterwards, we felt terrible because we really liked hanging out with each other."
Addressing where things stand between the two now, Marisha said that they have yet to speak since exiting the house – though expressed hope that they would talk soon.

"No, I haven't spoken to her since I've been out because I've been trying to get my sleep," she explained. "I think I'd be running around. Hopefully I'll get to see her on Friday. But before she left, we were cool. So, hopefully we're still cool.”
Earlier this week, Ekin-Su was due to appear on Lorraine for an interview, though didn’t end up appearing. The show later clarified that the star "did not pull out of the show".
Celebrity Big Brother airs Sundays through Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and the ITV Hub, followed by Late & Live on ITV2 immediately following each new episode.
