Sam Faiers left the Celebrity Big Brother house to attend a hospital appointment yesterday, a show spokesperson has confirmed.
Last week, reports suggested that the Only Way Is Essex star had left the compound after experiencing an apparent allergic reaction. However, Channel 5 clarified that Sam was treated in the Diary Room "for a medical issue of a personal nature".
Today, the network confirmed reports that Sam left the house yesterday (Friday, January 24) in order to seek medical help.
A representative for Celebrity Big Brother said: "Sam left the house yesterday morning to attend an appointment with a consultant for an ongoing medical concern.
"Whilst out of the house she was accompanied at all times by a member of Endemol staff who ensured contact with the outside world remained at a minimum."
On Wednesday, evicted housemate Liz Jones revealed that 24-year-old Sam had been suffering from an unidentified illness since soon after she entered the house.

Producers are now discussing whether she should remain in the house for Wednesday's final, or be removed early on health grounds, the Daily Star reports.
Sam's sister and TOWIE co-star Billie Faiers told the newspaper: "Sam hasn't been her usual self. It's so difficult when you can't get access to her and you can't be with her to make sure she is okay."
Last night, Celebrity Big Brother host Emma Willis informed the remaining housemates - Jim Davidson, Dappy, Lee Ryan, Casey Batchelor, Ollie Locke, Luisa Zissman and Sam - that they had reached the final of the competition.
However, a surprise eviction will be held on Sunday (January 26).
