Bake Off: The Professionals co-host Tom Allen has his very own radio show launching next weekend.
Via On the Radio, it's been announced that the comedian will host a brand-new Sunday programme for Virgin Radio, from 12.30 to 4pm straight after Graham Norton's morning show.
Allen, who Celebrity Catchphrase and Tipping Point fans may remember from 2021 episodes, said of the job: "I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Virgin Radio on a regular basis from January.

"I can't wait to hang out with the amazing Virgin Radio listeners whilst playing the best tunes. I promise to chase away any hint of the Sunday blues!"
Also commenting was Virgin Radio UK's content director Mike Cass, who shared: "Tom is a perfect fit for Virgin Radio, joining an incredible weekend lineup of Graham Norton and Leigh Francis.
"We can't wait to hear Tom bring his sense of humour to the show every Sunday. What more could our listeners want!"

Allen is also well known for his presenting role on The Apprentice: You're Fired, which he's been doing since 2019.
Replacing Rhod Gilbert in the main seat, he said at the time: "I'm excited and humbled to be joining this wonderful, much-loved show as host.
"I'm looking forward to analysing, satirising and, dare I say, celebrating the many 'interesting' choices the candidates make during their Apprentice journey whilst gaining valuable insight into the business world."
The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
