The presenter announced yesterday (October 10) that she would depart the ITV show after 14 years, deeming it a "difficult goodbye".
Following the shock news, producers aired a tribute to the former presenter as part of today’s (October 11) episode, saying that it was "the end of an era" and that Willoughby would "forever be one of us".

The episode began with a title sequence consisting of various photos and messages in tribute to Holly, with hosts Rochelle Humes and Craig Doyle saying the whole team were "sad" to see her leave but that the "show must go on".
The pair confirmed that Holly would be putting her "family first", alluding to the recent news that a man had been arrested after allegedly attempting to kidnap the presenter. He has since been charged with soliciting to commit murder and incitement to commit kidnap.
Holly released a statement yesterday to confirm her decision, saying: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.
"To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so much. This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive.

She added that the decision was made for both herself and her family, before stating that she would miss everybody at This Morning.
This Morning airs on weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX.
