The first trailer for season four of Netflix's Too Hot to Handle is here and it's promising plenty of drama in paradise.

"We are pushing our wildest singles yet to their very limits like never before," narrator Desiree Burch says, as the show teases plenty of temptation between the latest bunch of singletons.

As usual on the show, 10 new contestants are jetted away to a lavish Caribbean villa in hopes of finding true love, and a cash prize, all while abstaining from any form of physical contact.

The trailer also reveals just how this year's contestants were tricked into believing they were joining a show named Wild Love, complete with Mario Lopez acting as a fake host for the made-up show.

"The whole world has heard of Too Hot to Handle, so we had to create our biggest fake show yet. We even got TV legend Mario Lopez in on it," Burch says, before the hopefuls realise they've been tricked.

Elsewhere, the trailer teases plenty more twists to come, including mid-season arrivals and a free kiss for each of the singletons to use on their dates, which will surely cause tension in the newly-formed couples.

"You want to cut things off with me completely to purse things with her," one contestant confronts her partner. "She's been in here for one day."

Will any of the contestants be able to follow the rules in order to win the prize money, or will the temptation prove too much? Judging by several clips in the trailer, it seems not, with another contestant declaring: "We're gonna leave here with no money."

Too Hot to Handle seasons 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix, with a fourth arriving on December 7.
