Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne has opened up about her split from husband Tom Girardi and why their divorce isn't finalised yet.
Jayne announced she had split from Girardi in November 2020 after 21 years of marriage.
Speaking on Wednesday night's (July 20) episode of the Bravo reality show, Jayne explained that divorcing Girardi would mean she'd have to pay alimony.

"It's ironic, but if I was divorced from Tom, I'd have to pay him alimony," Jayne said during her confessional (via Page Six), adding: "I'll stay married, thanks."
Jayne also added during a FaceTime call to castmate Lisa Rinna that, due to the couple's legal problems, it's not possible for her to finalise her divorce.
"I can't get a divorce right now," Jayne said. "Like, I'm legally separated, so my life has moved on and everything is separate.
"But I can't get a divorce right now. There's so much legal shit going on. It's a weird time and I'm really ready for it to be over."
Jayne and lawyer Girardi met while she was waitressing in between acting jobs at Chasen's in West Hollywood.
While announcing their split in November 2020 during an interview with E! News, Jayne said: "After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi.
"This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together.
"It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserve. I request others give us that privacy as well."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available to watch hayu and hayu on NOWTV in the UK, as well as Bravo in the US.
