Gogglebox's Worthington family struck up an amusingly unexpected debate about The Chase in tonight's (May 20) episode of the reality TV show.

The armchair critics sat down to watch the week's TV highlights including Eurovision, Beat the Chasers, Drag Me to Hell and The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

As Beat the Chasers hit the screen, daughter Helena decided to pose the most important question to her mum Alison: Which chaser would she snog – The Sinnerman, The Beast, The Governess, The Menace, The Vixen or The Dark Destroyer?

"Out of any of them you'd go for The Beast, wouldn't ya?" Helena mused. "What?!" Alison replied, confused, to which Helena clarified: "If you were going to snog any of them, which one would ya snog?"

"Absolutely not," Alison refuted while Helena continued to needle her, then suggesting The Sinnerman. But soon Alison spoke up for herself: "The Dark Destroyer, I think."

This left Helena in giggles as she replied: "You wanna get destroyed by The Dark Destroyer." But Alison managed to get one final cheeky remark in. "Might be the other way round," she laughed.

The Worthingtons were not the only ones who were entertained by the Chasers. Dave and Shirley had their own amusing conversation.

"Innit funny how you can store information in your brain?" Dave observed, to which Shirley replied: "Yeah I don't. I don't store nothing in mine. It's empty."

It seems like none of the Goggleboxers are quite ready to take on the Chasers just yet, neither romantically or intellectually.

Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
