Too Hot to Handle season 2 only debuted a few months ago, though the next batch of sun-soaked action (or lack of) will be with fans sooner than expected.

The hit Netflix reality series sees a bunch of singletons put together and banned from intimate contact, with each rule broken reducing the $100,000 grand prize.

The streamer has now confirmed that season 3 will air in winter next year – so an early 2022 release.

Alongside that news, Netflix has confirmed three new UK reality series for 2022, including dating show Dated and Related, which will follow siblings as they search for 'the one' together, though the question remains whether they will act as wingmen or scupper plans.

Dance Monsters will see people passionate about dance transformed into CGI monsters and compete in front of a panel of judges and an audience, while Snowflake Mountain puts a bunch of pampered and clueless kidults into a wilderness survival retreat.

It comes after the streamer recently revealed that it will also feature an epic crossover between Too Hot to Handle and other reality staples The Circle, Love is Blind and Selling Sunset.

Netflix Reality Games will be fronted by Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause, with cast members from the various shows pitted against one another.

They include Love is Blind couples Amber and Barnett and Lauren and Cameron, The Circle's Sammie Cimarelli, Joey Sasso, Courtney Revolution and DeLeesa Unique, and Too Hot to Handle's Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey, and Melinda Melrose and Chase DeMoor.

"Three Netflix reality casts. Three gruelling events. Only one team can triumph," Chrishell declared in a teaser trailer. "Who will sweaty face emoji, party emoji, trophy emoji?"

In short, there's plenty of Netflix reality action on the horizon.

Too Hot to Handle seasons 1 and 2 are available on Netflix, with season 3 premiering in early 2022.
