One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has celebrated the pop band's X Factor anniversary.
Undeniable world-beaters at one stage, this five-piece also consisting of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, have been on hiatus since 2016 after coming together on the 2010 series of ITV's music competition.
Tweeting to his millions of fans yesterday (July 23), Tomlinson wrote: "Thank you for the memories #11YearsOfOneDirection. Thank you as always for your amazing support!"

Last year, it was suggested by channel boss Kevin Lygo that its unlikely fans will get to watch X Factor in 2021.
"It's not definitely returning – it might return, and if it does the format will tweak," he commented at Edinburgh's virtual TV festival.

"I know it was the most successful entertainment show for the best part of a decade and you need to be wary of changes. We all think there were too many changes towards the end of the run, but I'm sure X Factor will be back at some stage.
"It's really, 'When is the right moment?'"

Lygo elaborated: "Simon [Cowell] controls it more than we do. When does he want it to come back, how does he want to come back? Hopefully we can be part of it."
