Dancing on Ice 2020 didn't choose the right winners, according to Digital Spy readers.

Former EastEnders star Joe Swash and his partner Alex Murphy were named victors of the 12th series of the ITV skating show, beating off competition from Perri Kiely and Vanessa Bauer, who came second, while Libby Clegg and Mark Hanretty finished third.

However, according to the majority of people who took part in our poll, Joe and Alex didn't deserve to take home the swirly trophy.

As it turns out, a healthy 57% of you thought that the title should have gone to one of the other couples.

Joe and Alex's win came after some fans took issue with the way the voting was carried out during the final.

With the judges' scoring rendered obsolete, the winners were instead decided by those watching at home, who got to vote for their favourite couple before even seeing them skate in the final.

As a result, many had complained that the final had essentially become a popularity contest, which might explain why the majority of people in our poll disagree with the result.
