On Tuesday's episode of The Circle (October 15), we said goodbye to one more catfish as Josh, who is actually 24-year-old Busayo Twins, was blocked after coming last in the ratings.

Busayo had decided to play the game as a young, middle-class white male, saying that she thought it would be easier for people to accept her as Josh.

"White men earn respect sooner than women and people of colour, and tend to find romance on TV shows much easier than a black woman would," Busayo said.

But her run in The Circle came to an end after players grew suspicious of Josh, feeling that he was too vague in a lot of his answers, especially when being quizzed on cricket.

After being blocked, Busayo was given the chance to visit one of her fellow players and reveal the truth about Josh in person.

Busayo chose Ella, who had told Josh earlier in the episode that she had his back, even if the other contestants were suspicious.

When Busayo walked into Ella's flat, Ella couldn't have had a better reaction, exclaiming, "How amazing," when she realised she'd been catfished.

Busayo then asked her: "Are you mad?" to which Ella answered: "Not even slightly." The two women then found out that they actually have a lot in common, including that they're both 24 and from London.

Explaining her reason for playing as Josh to Ella, Busayo said: "For me, in my experience as a black woman, I feel people address me differently and have different perceptions of me.

"I felt like, 'Let's test this'. This is a social experiment... let me see what it would be like to be Josh."

Busayo then admitted that she was glad the experiment didn't work, causing Ella to tell her, "You would go further than Josh," something viewers were very much in agreement with.

Meanwhile, the episode ended in a cliffhanger as influencers Tim and Sammie were told they must pick another player to block.

The Circle continues every night this week at 10pm on Channel 4.
