Nothing about the upcoming series of The X Factor is what we're used to. There are celebrity contestants, the audition process has changed, and the old theme song has even been binned. It's all change, and we don't know how to feel.
Another thing that's changed? The typically-frosty relationship between X Factor stalwart Louis Walsh and former judge Cheryl.
Once as certain in life as death and taxes was the feud between Cheryl and Louis, but it appears the cats have put away their claws and called an end to their fighting and sniping.

Ahead of the X Factor: Celebrity launch this weekend, Louis has revealed that he and Cheryl have officially buried the hatchet – so deep is said hatchet, in fact, that Louis even said he "loves" his former rival.
"I love Cheryl, I think she's in a really good place," he told Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold. "I love her now more than I used to, that's being really honest with you."

The X Factor drama that isn't about to end, however, is Simon Cowell versus Sharon Osbourne, with Sharon recently insisting the two won't work together again.
Simon allegedly sacked the former judge for being "too old" back in 2017, but despite claiming that she is "always welcome" back on the show, Sharon really isn't interested.

"I don't want to work with him," she said, setting the record straight. "Because I said certain things about, and to, Simon, doesn't mean I hate him for ever, just for that second I don't like him.
"He is OK, it's just I don't want to work with him."
