Kym Marsh has addressed rumours that she was to appear in Celebrity Big Brother.
Writing in Now magazine, the Coronation Street star explained that the rumour was started by an impostor who impersonated her online.
"Someone pretending to be me on Twitter or Facebook is starting these rumours," she said. "I'm so glad to be doing Popstar To Operastar instead because I'm actually learning something."
The actress, who is reportedly engaged to former Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, added that she would not take part in the show for "all the tea in China".
Marsh is currently appearing on Popstar To Operastar on Fridays on ITV1.
