Jodie Kidd has become the tenth contestant to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

The model and her dance partner Ian Waite found themselves in the bottom two alongside Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole, who also faced the dance-off last weekend.

In last night's show, Kidd picked up 30 out of 40 points from the judges and received positive comments for her attempt at the jive.

"You did those kicks beautifully," head judge Len Goodman commented. "I thought you had the fun element of the dance."

Bruno Tonioli added: "I am really surprised. I was expecting this to be like a big marshmallow of a dance but you were sharp, you were on time. I counted all the way through - all the way through you were never off the timing. So proud, you should be proud."

However, in the judges' vote, all four panellists agreed that Snowdown should be saved for another week, leaving Kidd as the latest celebrity to be sent home.

Speaking afterwards, she revealed: "I've had such a fabulous time. Thank you so much to everyone, thank you Ian. I've made some beautiful friends. It's been the most amazing journey, it's been brilliant. I see Ian as my brother from another mother!"
