EastEnders legend Danny Dyer's acceptance speech at the NTAs was as barmy as you'd expect.
The actor was given Best Serial Drama Performance for portraying Mick Carter – and gave viewers a television moment no-one will soon forget.
Dyer was given the prestigious award for the second year in a row, triumphing over Corrie's Alison King, Emmerdale's Michael Parr and EastEnders co-star Rakhee Thakrar
"I'm honoured to be a part of a sublime, depressing programme," Dyer slyly began. "Ali King, I've known you a long time, you don't want to be up here… Rakhee [Thakrar], what you've done is a beautiful thing.
"We should never forget our little mob [in the crowd]. Without you, we wouldn't be here."
He then left jaws dropped while quipping: "I'd like to thank mum and dad for having a roll about in 1977 and conceiving me."
