In a major twist during the second part of tonight's two-part premiere in the US, heartbreak was in store when Falk Hentschel's Hawkman was killed by Casper Crump's Vandal Savage.
Of course, this being a time-travel show, Hawkman could always come back. But still, that was one shocking death.
