The Flash season 8 potential spoilers and DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 7 finale spoilers follow.

Following his debut in the recent DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 7 finale, it looks like Booster Gold could be back for another Arrowverse appearance.

Scrubs star Donald Faison was introduced as the time-traveller in last week's episode, familiar to comic fans as a disgraced former athlete known for his staged heroic feats.

In the episode, after crossing paths with the team, he betrayed them a number of times, and it looks like we could be seeing more of his antics in The Flash season 8 when it returns tomorrow (March 9).

While we should take it with a pinch of salt, TVLine has confirmed that fans should keep their "eyes peeled for a character that was just introduced on Legends of Tomorrow".

Legends co-showrunner Phil Klemmer recently addressed the character joining the show, saying bringing Booster in was a "tonal fit and just knowing".

"There's just something so lovable and unexpected," he revealed to Entertainment Weekly. "You just knew that he was going to work as kind of a bit of the merry prankster, a bit of a BS artist."

Speaking of Faison, he added: "You have these moments of not wanting to allow yourself to get your heart set on someone like Donald Faison and we saw it taking shape and [couldn't] believe this [was] happening. And then you have this moment of finally meeting the guy, and obviously we're all super familiar with his work.

"He just hopped on a Zoom from... For whatever reason he was hiding in his wife's closet. I think it had good acoustics or he was trying to avoid something else in the house. And you're like, 'This guy is the best.' This guy loves the show, loves the world. He's as steeped in this stuff as any of us who've been working on the show for seven years."

The Flash airs on The CW in the US. Sky Showcase and NOW air the show in the UK.
