This has led some fans to think England now have an easier route to the final as we'll avoid the likes of Brazil, Argentina, France and Portugal, but there's the small matter of Colombia to deal with in the Round of 16 before everyone can dream of football coming home.

But if you're not near a TV on Tuesday night, fear now, here's how you can watch England's first knockout match against Colombia online – well, as long as you have a TV licence.

England's Round of 16 match against Colombia will be screened on ITV with coverage kicking off from 6.30pm (UK time).

As well as being broadcast live on ITV, the match will also be streamed live via the ITV Hub which is available through desktops, tablets, mobiles and on connected TVs.

Unlike the BBC coverage of World Cup matches, this time there isn't an option to watch the match in Ultra HD or virtual reality.
