It looks like a protest crowd are happy to see the back of the gruesome twosome with placards suggesting that Royston Vasey needs to be saved.
Perhaps the specials will have echoes of the first TV series which saw Edward and Tubbs work to stop a new road being built through Royston Vasey in order to keep it a local town for local people.
Filming on the specials wrapped up last month with it being hinted that we'll be reuniting with the quirky characters at Christmas, although no official date has been set.
However, fans lucky enough to live in the north of England will be able to see one of the specials before anyone else as the BBC is putting on special screenings of it, alongside the Doctor Who Christmas special.
During filming, we were given our first look at Edward and Tubbs back in action, with the iconic duo joined by The Walking Dead star David Morrissey.
We've also seen Reverend Bernice Woodall back in Royston Vasey and the world's worst vet Mr Chinnery who, unfortunately, doesn't seem to have had a career change since we last saw him.
