Here at Digital Spy, we love live TV – because stuff like this happens.
On this occasion, it's FOX13 Memphis reporter Scott Madaus who has us laughing, after his news item on a cougar was upstaged by an innocent cat.
Madaus was reporting live at the scene, where the cougar had apparently last been spotted.
But as he turned to point out the site to the audience, a tabby cat was sat there, just going about its day-to-day business, under the conveniently-placed caption "LARGE CAT SPOTTED".

"...And that's not it, that's a house cat," commented Madaus, before swiftly moving on.

But while he changed the subject back to the cougar in question, the camera kept its focus on the cat – and Twitter went wild for it.
And Madaus himself later commented on what went down:
While we applaud Scott for his professionalism, we're so glad that the now-famous cat stole the limelight. You keep doing you, feline.
