Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has introduced his adorable new puppy to the world on Loose Women, and we all might be a bit in love.
Appearing on today's (April 4) episode of the ITV show, Daniel, who plays vicar Billy Mayhew, shared his pride about giving miniature dachshund Colin a forever home – though also spoke about his uneasy start in life.
"The Dogs Trust, who have been amazing, they intercepted an illegal puppy smuggling ring from Hungary," he explained. "And apparently he was in awful conditions, him and his siblings, so I've taken him on and given him his forever home.
"I've had dogs before. I grew up in a middle of a field, my parents had a huge number of dogs. A Jack Russell was the last one, it was pretty hectic, whereas this one is the lowest maintenance dog I've ever had."
Explaining why he called the pup Colin, Daniel admitted: "I think people names on dogs are hilarious." Fair point.
He also opened up about taking Colin to the Corrie set, continuing: "It's great I've taken him to work – he's small, so he can sleep anywhere really.

"I've just moved house and I was on holiday before the move. So he arrived at the beginning of the two weeks I've been off work, it worked out rather well."
In the interview, Daniel also spoke again about enduring homophobic abuse, especially over his character Billy.
"Especially on social media, it’s unbelievable," he said. "I do highlight it, not all of it actually, but I think it’s important to let people know it’s still going on."
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV. Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm.
