Digital Spy was greeted by The Jump's celebrity contestants après-ski – fresh off the slopes (and a few from the bar) and all on their very best behaviour.... Well, nearly all of them. Yes, we're looking at you, Mr Spencer Matthews.

Within a minute (and 9 seconds) into our group interview, the former MiC star was already asking for a journalist's number (not ours).

Acting as though he had had one glühwein too many (as if!) Spenny also joked to his counterparts that his skiing suit had been sent to him exclusively by LL Cool J, eliciting an eye roll or two from around the room.

And don't ask him about those royal restrictions ("it can't be [true] because I'm here, aren't I?") or that alleged love triangle ("I would be delighted if that was the case, but unfortunately, that isn't happening").

Claims that he had been pitching a reality TV show similar to The Jump, but just with him, to Channel 4 commissioners remain unsubstantiated.

But we can't make this all about Spencer... Okay, just one more tidbit – who knew his winter sport diet would consist of so many Potato Smileys?

Oops, we already mentioned that...
