Victoria Wood was one of the UK's greatest and much loved entertainers since getting her big break in talent show New Faces in 1974.
Here we celebrate just some of the highlights of the actor, writer, director, producer, comedian, singer and songwriter - following her death at the age of 62 today.
1. ACORN ANTIQUES
Probably the most famous of all of Wood's sketches. It actually ended up being way better than its 'influence' Crossroads. Also starring several of her regular colleagues including Julie Walters and Celia Imrie, we could never get enough of the dodgy camerawork, wobbly sets, and ridiculous dialogue. It returned as a hit West End musical in 2005 directed by Trevor Nunn.
2. LET'S DO IT
Wood was also a highly accomplished singer-songwriter, and some of her comedy songs were requested over and over again. Her best was probably this seven-minute 'Ballad of Barry and Freda'. It centres on a couple where Freda is desperate for sex and Barry very much isn't.
What to Read Next
She once said of the song that it was "a joy to write, a sod to learn, and I daren't finish a show without it. The first time I performed it, a woman at the stage door asked, 'How long have you been cross-eyed?'"
3. OPINION POLL
Wood won a BAFTA for 1988's An Audience With Victoria Wood on ITV, and this was one of her best stand-up routines. We've all bumped into one of these people.
4. DINNERLADIES
She scored a huge sitcom hit with Dinnerladies in 1998. Not only did she star in the show about a group of canteen workers in Manchester, but she wrote, directed and co-produced it, AND wrote and sang the theme tune. Its series finale attracted over 15 million viewers on Millennium Eve in 1999.
5. BRIEF ENCOUNTER
An incredibly spot-on parody of the classic British 1940s romantic drama. Even if you haven't seen the original, it's hilarious.
6. PAT AND MARGARET
This one-off drama from 1994 deserves to be more well-known and if you haven't caught it yet, make sure you do. Written by Wood, she starred as a cook who is reunited with her long-lost sister after 27 years, who just so happened to be a huge TV star (Julie Walters). Heartwarming and hilarious, it won a Broadcasting Press Guild Award and was nominated for two BAFTAs.
7. BAKE OFF
Last year, Wood took part in a celebrity edition of Bake Off for Comic Relief. She took on Alexa Chung, Chris Moyles and Kayvan Novak, and she was crowned Star Baker by Paul and Mary. She obviously got some help from Marjorie and Joan.
8. PAM
Another one of Wood's most famous songs, all about a flamboyant and somewhat bigoted lady named Pamela Patricia (but people call her Pam). This generation's Tom Lehrer.
9. FATITUDE!
She was never one to shy away from poking fun out of herself, and this outfit from her keep fit class sketch will never stop being funny. If you've been to an aerobics class, you'll know that this skit is highly accurate.
10. HOUSEWIFE, 49
Wood proved several times that she was also a brilliant dramatic actor and featured in various bittersweet productions. One such example was this one-off from 2006. She won a rare double BAFTA for both acting and writing for the ITV drama, which was an adaptation of Nella Last's diaries during WWII.
11. LARK RISE TO CRANCHESTERFORD
This little parody of the many laid-back period dramas was spot on in 2009, and still sums up the likes of Grantchester or Downton Abbey six years later.
