Squid Game has teased the deadly new challenges to come in the first trailer for its third and final season.
The final chapter of the hit Netflix series is due to debut next month, and will see Gi-hun return to the deadly games after his failed rebellion in the season two finale, which led to the death of his friend Jung-bae by The Front Man.
The new trailer opens with the guards ominously carrying Gi-hun back to the players' quarters in a coffin, before teasing a new game for him and his fellow survivors.
The players are presented with a giant gumball machine that dispenses either red or blue balls, likely determining their fates for the next challenge.
After teasing some more tense scenes, the screen fades to black as we hear a baby's cry, suggesting that Player 222 has given birth.
