A spinoff documentary on Mr Bates vs The Post Office has confirmed its release date.
The record-breaking drama, which follows the British Post Office scandal, was released earlier this year and had a huge social impact.
Following its success, Mr Bates vs The Post Office: The Impact, is set to be released. The new documentary will focus on how the original four-part drama has affected the lives of the subpostmasters who are central to the story.

The documentary will also shine a light on their ongoing fight for justice, featuring Alan Bates and prominent figures such as Jo Hamilton, Jess Uppal and Noel Thomas.
ITV has now revealed that the film will air on Monday, September 9, at 9pm.
“The Post Office scandal became a genuine national talking point at the start of this year, striking at the heart of the public’s sense of justice,” said ITV Controller of Factual Jo Clinton-Davis.
“The reverberations have been felt ever since at a political level, but particularly in the lives of those directly affected. This film promises to tell the story of what has happened since in their lives, how their fight continues, as well as illuminating new layers of this scandal.”

The real-life scandal saw hundreds of subpostmasters falsely accused of theft, false accounting or fraud due to a faulty IT system, with Bates (played by Toby Jones) leading their fight for justice.
Mr Bates vs The Post Office became ITV’s biggest new drama in over a decade when it debuted in January, taking in an average of 9.8 million viewers across the episodes upon its release.
Following its success, ITV has since commissioned a new true-story drama that will focus on the contaminated blood scandal, which will be written by Scoop's Peter Moffat.
Mr Bates vs The Post Office: The Impact will air on ITV1 on Monday, September 9, at 9pm. Mr Bates vs The Post Office airs on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
