Loose Women's Coleen Nolan has shared how "proud" she is of her son in a new announcement.

The panelist took to Instagram this week to reveal that her son, Jake Roche, will be debuting his new show at the Edinburgh Fringe.

"That’s it! My son is off to the Edinburgh Fringe to debut his one-man show, NEPORRHOIDS," she captioned a sweet photo of herself and Jake at the beach.

"If you’re in Edinburgh from July 31st to August 26th, be sure to check it out. So proud of you @jakeroche xx".

Neporrhoids is described as "a (mostly) true story of the meteoric rise and devastating fall of chart-topping boyband member Jake Roche, who is definitely not a 'nepo baby', a 'one hit wonder', nor 'completely irrelevant'".

Jake, who is also the son of EastEnders' Shane Richie, is the lead singer of British pop band Push Baby (formally known as Rixton). The group charted at number 1 on the UK Singles Chart with their 2014 hit 'Me and My Broken Heart'.

Jake is also perhaps known for portraying the role of Isaac Nuttall on Emmerdale back in 2010.

Coleen's announcement comes shortly after she interrupted an episode of Loose Women to inform viewers about a surprise marriage proposal that took place on set.

The presenter revealed that two guests got engaged during the advert break, following a segment about cheating in relationships.

"Now from cheating to something very different... a proposal," she said. "During the break, my friend Liam who is in the audience proposed to his partner, Michael."

Viewers were then shown a clip of Liam popping the question, which Coleen described as "so romantic!"

Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
