Sky has officially renewed hit comedy Brassic for a seventh season.
The show, which stars Fool Me Once actor Michelle Keegan, is returning for season six later this year, with the broadcaster renewing the show ahead of its broadcast.
The renewal puts to bed rumours last year that Brassic was being axed.

“Season seven! How did this happen?!?" said the show's co-creator Danny Brocklehurst. "Brassic is a delight to make and it's a privilege to create more chaos for our loyal and loving audience."
According to Sky, the show is the broadcaster's biggest original comedy, with season seven seeing the show reach the 50-episode milestone.

Season five aired in October last year, with filming beginning on the sixth season at the same time.
In December, fans were treated to the first-ever Brassic Christmas special, where Keegan once again reprised her role as Erin Croft.
The comedy follows Erin (Keegan), Vinnie (Joseph Gilgun) and pals Cardi (Tom Hanson), Ash (Aaron Heffernan), Tommo (Ryan Sampson), JJ (Parth Thakerar), Carol (Bronagh Gallagher), who find unconventional and sometimes illegal ways of making ends meet in the fictional northern town of Hawley.
Sky has yet to confirm an official release date for the sixth season, but has confirmed that it will air on Sky Max and be available on streaming service Now "later in 2024".
Brassic airs on Sky Max and NOW. Season six will air later this year.
