Berserk of Gluttony was a surprise hit in the winter 2023 anime season.
The action fantasy show, based on Ichika Isshiki's ongoing manga and light novel series, has a deceptively simple premise but is elevated by some killer fight sequences and likeable characters.
But with the show's first season of 12 episodes wrapping up in December, what does the future hold for Fate and Roxy?

Berserk of Gluttony season two hasn't been greenlit yet, but the show's success makes it likely we'll get a second outing.
What to Read Next
If Berserk of Gluttony does get renewed, estimating when we'll see it is a little bit trickier. The show's first season adapted volumes 1-6 of the manga, roughly two episodes per collected volume, which is currently all that is available.
Remember though that the Berserk of Gluttony manga is also adapted from an ongoing light novel series, of which only the first three volumes have been turned into comics.
That's all to say there is plenty of source material out there, but it seems unlikely the anime's release schedule will overtake the manga. As such, we'd be very surprised to see the show's return before 2025.

If Berserk of Gluttony is renewed for a second season, we'd expect the core cast to return, including;

Depending on when and if the show returns it's unclear whether either studio ACGT or director Tetsuya Yanagisawa will continue to be involved.

Berserk of Gluttony season 2 plot: What happens next?
As we mentioned, the first season of Berserk of Gluttony adapts volumes one to six of the manga, and roughly three volumes of the light novel series.
The season-one finale ended with some pretty epic scenes between Fate and newcomer Envy, but what happens next?
Author Ichika Isshiki has currently written eight light novel volumes, so fans hungry to know can read on to find out.
The official description for volume four reads:
"Blessed with new power after his trials in Galia, Fate returns to Seifort. He intends to wield his influence to uplift the downtrodden – those forsaken by the world for their 'unnecessary' skills.
"But standing in his way are his cruel old employers, the powerful Vlerick family. Now, to save the soul of Seifort, Fate must expose the terrifying truth hidden within the Vlerick estate."
