Death in Paradise star Ralf Little has shared a video of the "surprise guests" on set of the BBC detective series.

Filming is currently underway in Guadeloupe for season 13, with the actor sharing a behind-the-scenes clip revealing some of the creepy crawlies who live in DI Parker's shack.

"So we've just moved a bit of furniture in the shack," he says in the video, zooming in on a massive swarm of ants in the corner of a room.

Turning the camera round to himself, he added: "That's why I don't stay here."
