EastEnders legend Tamzin Outhwaite will be joining the cast of Death in Paradise series 11.
The soap icon and former New Tricks star will be leading an all-star guest line-up for the new episodes, alongside fellow former EastEnders star Nicholas Bailey, Jason Done (Merlin), Ben Onwukwe (Safe) and Ben Starr (Jamestown).
Outhwaite, who bowed out from playing Mel Owen in EastEnders in a blaze of glory two years ago, will hopefully have a less brutal end for her character when she appears in one Death in Paradise episode early next year.
These guest actors will be part of what sounds like a thrilling new series as DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little), DS Florence Cassell (Joséphine Jobert) and new arrival Sgt Naomi Thomas (Shantol Jackson) investigate a golf course serial killer and a sky-diver killed in midair!
Florence will also face her biggest professional decision yet when the police commissioner assigns her to go undercover on a drug trafficking case.
The character originally left Saint Marie a few years ago after her fiancée Patrick was murdered because of his ties to a drug cartel.

The last series left off on quite a cliffhanger too, so that will need to be addressed post-haste too when Death in Paradise returns.
Luckily, fans will not have to wait until 2022 for more Death in Paradise because the BBC has commissioned the show's first-ever Christmas show to air later in December.
Former cast member Danny John-Jules will be reprising his role as Officer Dwayne Myers to help former colleague Florence and newcomer Neville on their newest case.
It will be revealed that Dwayne also has a past with Officer Marlon Pryce (Tahj Miles)... and they will not exactly have a friendly reunion!
Death in Paradise airs on BBC One and will return for a Christmas special on Boxing Day.
