Death in Paradise has somehow been on our screens for 10 years, and in that time, we've already seen four different actors take the lead role for the BBC series.
Now, Ben Miller, Kris Marshall, Ardal O'Hanlon and Ralf Little have all got together to discuss their experience on the show, or, more specifically, what it's like to film in the clothes-shrinking heat of the Caribbean.

"Hot," Miller astutely pointed out to The Sunday Times. Of course, it's important to note that his DI Richard Poole, who will be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming 10th series, was always dressed in a full suit.
O'Hanlon said he found it easier to acclimatise to the heat, but then he was the only detective who wasn't forced to wear a jacket on the show.
"I don't know why Ardal was the only one who managed to not have a jacket," said Little, who currently serves as the lead on the series. "It was only me and Ben who had ties and jackets. Ben had it worse costume-wise."

Miller then jokingly explained: "I was really great at the heat. It's a thing of legend how well I coped. Stories of me shouting obscenities at the top of my voice, running into the sea in the middle of a scene, calling everybody every name I could think of under the sun from the water, that's completely untrue."
"Everyone was very kind not to mention it," he continued. "And afterwards, as well, I like the way what goes on Paradise stays on Paradise."
Marshall then added: "The worst place was always the police station. They would have 10K lights boiling the place. I went nuts. I mean, I started throwing things."
"It's a surprisingly physically demanding job," said Little. "You think you're going to get a really early night and, at first, that's ten o'clock and then, by the end of it, you're going to bed at half-seven and you're still tired."
"Well, you're looking incredibly well, Ralf," replied O'Hanlon. "By this time in the series I was looking like John Hurt."
Death in Paradise series 10 premieres on Thursday, January 7, 2021, airing on BBC One.
