Catherine Tate and David Tennant have reunited in a new sketch involving the iconic Lauren Cooper for BBC One's Big Night In – and it's safe to say that it quickly proved an early highlight of the night.
The former Doctor Who co-stars previously starred together with Tate as Lauren and Tennant as her exasperated teacher in a series of Comic Relief sketches in 2007, and tonight (April 23) they revisited that dynamic for 2020, with the skit taking place as a one-to-one tutor session on Zoom.
And it wasn't long before Lauren did what Lauren does best and got stuck straight into delivering some truly memorable lines – and there was even a nod to Doctor Who in there, too.
"Can I ask you a question? Can I ask you a question sir, I just want to ask you a question," Lauren demanded of her teacher at one point.
"Are you, or have you ever been, a doctor? Are you a member of the W.H.O?"

Throughout the sketch, Lauren also questioned whether her teacher was too close to the computer screen – "social distancing, sir!" – and questioned whether he was finding isolation hard because he was "so old".
"Enough," he snapped. "Your grades are headed on a downward trajectory."
"Just trying to flatten the curve, innit," Lauren replied.
Lauren even revealed that since we last saw her she's become TikTok famous and she even managed to rope in Tennant's character for an instantly iconic video at the end of the clip.
And of course she managed to drop in the famous "Am I bovvered?!" line a time or two, too.
It wasn't long until viewers watching along at home turned to Twitter to share their praise for the sketch, calling it "utterly brilliant" and "fantastic" while dubbing the stars themselves "legends" and the ultimate "dream team".
