Line of Duty has announced who will play AC-12's next adversary.
Kelly Macdonald – who has starred in TV shows such as Boardwalk Empire, The Victim, and Giri/Haji, as well as Oscar-winning film No Country for Old Men – is starring as Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson in the sixth series.
The BBC has teased that Joanne's unconventional conduct will raise suspicions as the senior investigating officer of an unsolved murder.
